When Joey Crosby, from Scythian, and his long time girlfriend Sara decided to get married, they instantly realized that this could be no small occasion! There were just too many people to invite, too many talented friends to just have an ordinary wedding. After all, Joey and Sara have never been ones for convention . . .

So they decided that instead of having a normal, run of the mill reception, they would throw their very own music festival where Scythian and some of their favorite bands will commemorate the event with a day of jam-packed music. Joey and Sara chose the stunningly beautiful Rocky Gap National park as the location for the event and they are inviting a couple of thousand of their closest friends to come help them celebrate with music on the Lake. There will be camping and bonfires and music deep into the night - in essense, it will be a real village wedding!

People told them they were crazy, that this was supposed to be a wedding, not Woodstock, but they couldn't be swayed. They wanted to throw the most memorable wedding celebration possible, and couldnt think of anything better than a rockin' music festival filled with everyone they love . . . and amazing people they have yet to meet.

* Why the name Sunflower Fest? Well, sunflowers are Sara's favorite flowers, they're so friendly, welcoming and joyful. What better name for a wedding festival where EVERYONE is invited?!
