What a year 2020 was! Pandemic. All our shows cancelled! It was our worst nightmare, until we decided to do a livestream on St. Patrick's Day in Ethan's kitchen and three hours and 60,000 viewers later the Quaranstream was born! Every two weeks for over a year (and 560,000+ views) we came together and streamed 3-hour shows out of Dan's livingroom and got to connect to all our fans that had carried us throughout the years. It was you all who gave us permission to explore our musical and creative limits and we learned to play like boys again.

We dressed like pirates, 80s metal hairbands, moonshiners, 70s undercover cops, Italian-American inspirational fitness coaches, Ukrainians, ghouls, hobbits and wizards and had a blast doing it!

It was this environment and community that gave birth to this album – a compilation of songs we put together for you – our Quaranstream Fan-ly. Consider it a quirky B-side to Roots & Stones; songs you would never hear on a normal Scythian album, but songs which illustrate the boyish fun we had in making our Quaranstream shows entertaining for you – the best fans on earth!
